The Bowery Hotel New York City Wedding | Chelsea & William

This classic, timeless New York City wedding was truly one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever gotten to be a part of. From the jaw dropping three-piece Vivienne Westwood wedding dress to the design details that Mae & Co. Creative integrated throughout the entire experience, this day will always be a highlight of my career. I remember when I first connected with Sea and Billy to talk about their wedding day and was so in love with how much they wanted the experience to be the center of everything they had planned. They wanted the day to leave space to be present, to feel connected, for the photos taken to feel real. That mixed with their incredibly creative and talented minds - I couldn’t ask for anything more. Sea and Billy, it was such an honor.

Guests received lovely white invitations outlined with raised white florals that carried a classic look, while the floral decorated and brown pieces added some color for this New York City wedding. It was all tucked inside matching floral lined envelopes by Carta Plena Designs. This luxurious wedding was expertly planned by Mae & Co. Creative with the ceremony at The Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral. The venue was stunning with its gorgeous stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings. Both sides of the doors of the church were lined with large, colorful floral and greenery arrangements. The flower girls, in their white dresses, donned similar floral headbands and carried baskets for petals. The bride’s bouquet was an assortment of pastel flowers and accents of greenery with a trailing peach ribbon created by Winsome Florals. The bride wore a Vivenne Westwood off the shoulder gown with a subtle white flower design. She chose a long sleeve, puff shoulder jacket to wear over the top for the ceremony. Her hair was done in a curled high ponytail. The adorable first look had the couple sharing an intimate moment with lots of smiles. Guests looked on while the bride greeted her groom, dressed in a classic black tuxedo. After heartfelt vows, guests proceeded to a lavish reception at The Bowery Hotel. The place settings were done on white tablecloth covered tables with floral menus atop gold napkins. White intricately designed dinner plates were bordered by gold flatware. Numerous pastel floral arrangements made up the centerpieces amid gold cadelabras filled with tall white glowing candles. Grand floral arrangements draped down from the ceiling. The couple’s tall layer cake was decorated with frosting between the layers and pastel florals decorating the top and sides. The outside seating area was adorned with hanging greenery and had seating with white tablecloth covered tables and small pastel floral centerpieces. Guests swayed to the music as they celebrated the new Mr. & Mrs.
