Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano in San Clemente, California | Wedding of Jenn & Corey
Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano is a magnificent church with an ornate gold wall and impressive cathedral ceiling where this bride and groom chose to wed. White candles along with greenery was all that was needed to complete the decor. After the morning getting hair and makeup done, the bride changed into a sleek strapless gown with front slit and side gathering by Kyha. Gold strappy shoes with a low heel completed her wedding day look. She chose to wear her long locks in soft curls and topped with a chapel length veil. Her bridesmaids were dressed in black dresses in varying styles. Small delicate bouquets were created with classic white roses and accents of greenery that matched the men’s boutonnieres. The groom was handsome in his double breasted tuxedo from Zegna, while the groomsmen wore suits from Suitshop.
After exchanging traditional vows, the couple moved to their outdoor reception. The black chairs were set around white tablecloth covered tables with white dinnerware and greenery with sprigs of baby’s breath as a centerpiece. Menus along with baby’s breath were tucked into white napkins set atop the place settings. Tall white votives were glowing in their black candleholders. The reception was catered by Sundried Tomato Bistro. In lieu of a cake, the couple chose to serve pizookis, chocolate chip cookies made in a cast iron skillet with ice cream on top. The bride changed into a white silk drape front dress for the reception and put her hair into a ponytail as lights strung among the trees glittered overhead.
