Glacier National Park Sunrise Elopement
Glacier National Park is an incredibly special place to me. It was the place I knew deep down that I was ready to start a family. There’s a peacefulness here, even in the midst of packed out parking lots and tourists walking the mountain roads trying to get a photo of a mountain goat - there is a feeling you get when you enter this place. A stillness. A sense of clarity. Awe.
It’s no question as to whether or not this is an amazing place to wake up to, say your vows, and watch the sun slowly pour over the mountains. I’ve photographed two sunrise elopements here and both have been equally transcendent. The first was featured on Green Wedding Shoes here, and this one was a shoot I directed for our retreat at Immersed Education.
