A journey through Morocco on my first trip ever to this incredible country. We drank mint tea in their Riad, wandered the souks in the Medina, ate dinner on the roof, and took the long journey out to the Sahara desert to experience one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Adventuring down the most dangerous road in New Zealand, running away from sand flies, and chasing the last bit of light in the mountains. I loved this day!
It’s been a dream of mine to try an underwater shoot and I finally did it this January while we were in Hawaii for a week. What an exhilarating experience! Sharing the story of what it took to get these photos and a collection of my favorites.
Reminiscing on the place we adventured to a year ago as we gear up for Patagonia Round 2 in March. Here are a few photos from this adventure session we did with Megan + Nate in a field just outside El Chalten with the infamous Patagonia skyline towering in the background.
Rich and I went to the South Island of New Zealand this January and wanted to share a few of our favorite places we experienced and share a few tips on how to camper van across this incredible little country!
Brittany + Logan’s elopement at Latourell Falls in Oregon. The waterfalls in the PNW are magical locations to elope.
If anyone knows Hannah + Cole, they know just how perfectly in love with each other they are. It's no often that I meet a couple that still can't stop taking pictures of each other, oogling over how cute they are, and enjoy having their photos taken because that means they get to be close to each other. These two are inseparable in the most perfect way. They are what I want to feel inside, and they wear it all on their sleeve. They are open, intentional, accepting, forgiving, who deeply love and aren't afraid of the consequences.
For our 2 year anniversary, Rich and I decided to head to our favorite country for some "us" time. While everyone else celebrates by going out to dinner, maybe taking a weekend in the mountains or even a nice beach, we choose to spend it walking through blizzards, eating overly salted dehydrated food, getting blisters after long hours on the trail, and sleeping in a hut with 15 other smelly hikers. Talk about romantic. Not everyone's first choice, but why isn't it?
Sometimes, you just need to go to a waterfall in the middle of the week and sit at a lookout until the sun goes down. Spending time with your person is just as important as all the other big things in life. I know I'm usually sharing couples getting married and engaged, but I've found that it's all the little things in-between that matter the most. Silver Falls is one of my favorite places in Oregon, there's this 10 waterfall hike you can do that is pretty incredible. All to say, take the night off, stop watching Netflix, get outside, and spend some real undistracted time with your loved ones, because it's a big deal.
